Journal Prompts that reveal what's blocking your light
I’ve been journaling for almost 10 years now, and I truly believe that journaling prompts are one of the most powerful tools to get to know yourself on a deeper level.
They help you uncover what’s been hidden beneath the surface—old stories, limiting beliefs, quiet dreams you’ve forgotten, or the parts of you that are waiting to be seen.
These 10 prompts have personally helped me clear inner blocks, reconnect with the light within, and return to clarity, self-trust, and a deeper sense of purpose.
If you’re feeling disconnected or unsure of your path, maybe one of these questions will open a door back to yourself.
How would I describe the best version of myself, and what obstacles are preventing me from realizing this reality? If I imagined already living as the best version of myself—how would I think, act, feel, and make decisions? And what is currently holding me back from embodying that version? Are these external circumstances, inner doubts, or old beliefs that no longer serve me?
Which people in my life leave me feeling energetically and emotionally drained after spending time with them? Who in my environment depletes me instead of nourishing me? Are there people after whose presence I feel small, confused, or exhausted? What exactly happens in those interactions—and why do I still allow it?
