Loved this, so helpful. I too am obsessed with constantly learning and gathering new ideas and points of view and it often feels overwhelming. Game changer when I started keeping a list of things I want to learn about, not now but sometime. It shifted my process from urgent to intentional.

Beautifully written, especially the point you should share your knowledge .

So helpful, and right on time honestly. I’ve been having one of those periods where it feels like something new and exciting to learn pops up every day, and I can’t keep up with all of it :’)

I loved each of these recommendations and how, as I read, ways to apply them came to mind. Thank you for sharing.

Good wisdom in the face of infinite potential lives! I'd recommend having fundamental 1st principles intellectually. I've found once I discovered the fundamental principles of 'relation' and 'knowledge' that anything is translatable. So if there's one pursuit, it'd be to pursue the 1st principles!

"You never know how something you learned might shift another person’s perspective." Beautifully stated. For me, it's not that they have to agree with what I learned or even with my perspective, but if what I shared put them on their own path of exploration... then it was worth sharing! - Selah

This post really resonates with me, as I am constantly looking for new information. "Why do the Americas and Eurasia + Africa both have dogs?" what is "xyz from this blog" an falling into Wikipedia or old forums post rabbit-holes. And over time I noticed thinking what was this thing I "just" read and not really having anything to tell people around me when they ask about my hobbies. So I have just started writing on Substack to channel this desire for discovery and learning creatively and share it with other people out for knowledge

This was very insightful and extremely helpful!! I’m a little curious about how you figured out which learning system best suited you. I’m personally struggling with finding one that suits me

The amount of times i’ve been asked “how do you even know that?” When really my knowledge is by product of being deeply curious of the most random things. I so relate to the point that knowledge is never wasted. Similar to a boy scout, you can never be too prepared

As someone who is trying to read more and less doomscrolling, I’ve honestly felt pressured to read everything and know everything. So this was such a lovely read and timely. Thank you for sharing!

I support the idea of creating your own system

As someone with adhd i had issues with many ways of studying and memorizing so i developed a way of cutting the pages i need to study into small chunks across the day that made me absorb the information with ease and have so much time for myself

Loved this! I often find it overwhelming as I want to explore so many different topics. I think im going to keep a note of those things going forward so that I can learn about them at a later stage
